The world through Indie's eyes (lens)

So Indie has recently figured out how to use the camera and we let him use our old one so if it gets broken, not a big deal. The following are pictures all taken by Indie at several family functions in recent weeks.
Seriously?!? I always look mean! What the heck!

We have lots of pictures like this one. He's getting good at self portraits.
 Memorial day.

 Family Reunion.
Finally a good one of me! Scott, you need to take lessons from your son! Or maybe I should just learn to not have a mean resting face.

That's a little creepy, Annicka!

Dirty Dash!

I did the Dirty Dash this year with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. 5 and a half miles of mud and obstacle courses. It was great fun and quite an experience! I highly recommend it!
All bright and shiny before the race!

And super muddy afterward! I don't think I'll ever be clean again!

And the "Father of the Year" Award Goes to...

No, not Bill Clinton. To my less well known and probably five-hundred, no, infinity-times-better-than-Bill-Clinton husband, Scott Chamberlain! Let me tell you why:

It all started on Friday evening. He came home from work and I was laid out on the couch with morning sickness (that's right, number 5 is on it's way) and he took care of dinner. Then as I continued to lay on the couch he took care of dishes. I finally got up to help put Milo to bed, then Milo decided he wasn't feeling so well and he vomited his entire dinner all down the front of me and all over the kitchen floor. (It took quite a lot of will power not to vomit myself.) Scott took Milo and bathed him then told me to go clean myself up and he'd take care of the mess on the floor. Not five minutes after I got out of the shower our 12 year old next door neighbor came over, he was babysitting while his parents were out for their anniversary. His baby sister had just thrown up too and Scott headed straight over there to help with clean up.

Then Saturday morning I needed to head to the Family History Library to do some research for a class. And that means that Scott gets the kids all day by himself. After seven hours of me being gone I came home to a mowed lawn AND a clean house! WHAT A MAN!

And that just entails the last couple of days with this "Father of the Year." Case being made, I hope that you'll concur that Scott is definitely the best dad/husband around!

Happy Father's Day! I LOVE YOU!

Family Reunion

Just after Memorial Day we had a family reunion with Scott's family up at Heber Valley Camp. We had such a great time, despite the cold! Thanks Rolyne for putting that on for us!

 Line Dancing.

Uncle Doug taking everyone's pictures as usual!
Aunt Lorraine on the zip-line! (Rolyne's sister) What a brave woman!
Me getting ready for the zip-line. Why do I always look so mean? I'm not, I promise! Scott, you're a terrible picture taker of me!
 Hiking.
 Horseshoes.

They had sand pits for the kids everywhere we went. Milo LOVED it!
 The giant swing!

Memorial Day

Of course our Memorial Day was low-key! Besides hanging out as a family, we went to Grandpa Chamberlain's grave to say hi.

End of School Programs

Park and Indie's end-of-year programs fell on the same day. This year Indie saw us, but stayed up with his class and actually sang the songs!

 We were so proud!
 Getting his certificate.
In Park's class they sang lots of songs and each child got to recite a nursery rhyme. Park chose Humpty Dumpty (along with about half the class). He made his special by singing it!
Next year, first grade!
