6 Months

Ever is 6 months old! I can hardly believe where the time has gone! She was 13 lbs 9 oz (7%), 25 inches long (12.75%), and her head was16.75 in (56.8%). Yes her head is large compared to her body... just like Park and Milo! She is such a good baby! She army crawls all over the place and has been for about a month now. We expected her to start hands and knees crawling at anytime now. She is so content to crawl around the house and explore and is generally very happy. We just love her and can't get enough! Her eyes are SO blue that I can't hardly help putting her in blue nearly all the time! What was our life like before she was born? We can't hardly remember!

Indie doesn't always like getting ready for church and will often spend most of the morning yelling, "NO CHURCH TODAY! I don't want to go to church!" The funny thing is, when it actually comes time to go, he's the first one out the door. While trying to get Indie to put on his shoes today he yelled, "NO! No shoes! It's too dangerous!"

SUMMER!

Okay, it's been CRAZY busy around here. My sister is visiting from Italy with her three kids and our schedule has been jam packed, when she isn't staying with us and she is at my dad's I feel like we are in recovery mode and I don't want to do things like blog. My sister, Julie, has been here since June 5th and leaves next Tuesday for home. We have had SO MUCH FUN! And have been way too busy for much of anything else. So, posted below in a series of shorter posts, mostly in sequential order, is what we have been up to all summer.

Milo and Isabel

Before my sister got here she and I were both worried that Milo and Isabel would butt heads a lot. They are only a few months apart and they both have pretty strong personalities. Well, they sure proved us wrong! They are the best of buds and the fighting has been minimal. Every morning when they see each other they call each other by name and give each other big hugs. They are so funny together!

Uncle Mike at Liberty Park

My younger brother Mike came into town for a few days and we got together with him for dinner and a water fight at the Liberty Park splash pad. We had so much fun with him. He's a great uncle for playing with the kids and being a good sport!

 

Thanksgiving Point

For the first time this year we have gotten a family pass to Thanksgiving Point. And we have used it well!

Over the weekend of the 4th my mom and Stepdad were in town and so we got to hang out at their condo in Park City. We just love to see these wonderful people!

Hill Air Force Base Air Show

We caught the tail end of the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base this year. We got to see the thunderbirds. It was AWESOME, and kind of worth the two hours of sitting in traffic from the freeway exit to the parking lot. We'll say this, it was an experience.

 My stepdad, Jim, who is quite liberal, saw these pictures on Facebook and was giving the kids a hard time for handling a gun. Then I told him that Scott purchased a hand gun just recently. "WHAT!?!" Jim said, and "Oh dear!" from my mom (imagine my high pitched imitation voice). :) We love to shock them with our conservative views and actions!

Pony Express Days

The first week my sister was here we had our Pony Express Days celebrations. These pics are of the parade. We also spent time at the carnival letting kids ride rides and eating snow cones.
