Alpine

As I said, Annicka had art camp in Alpine. Right next to the house she was at was this amazing little trail into a less populated area. There were meadows and trees and incredible views of the mountains. We went there three times during that week. It was so beautiful. It makes me a little envious. I wish this was next to my house.

My Grandparents

Annicka had a whole week of Art camp. While she was painting away in Alpine we decided to meet up with my sister (newly moved from Italy) for a visit with my grandparents, George and Carol Wilson. We lovingly call them Crazy grandma and grandpa. My grandma loves to dress up for holidays and do crazy things to embarrass/have fun with her grandkids and great grandkids. And grandpa is always along for the ride. They are the most service oriented people I know, they are always looking for something to do for someone else, even though they are 81. They celebrated their 60th Anniversary last December. Incredibly faithful, family oriented, and loving. Grandpa always has a genuine compliment for you and he makes you feel so loved and special. Grandma sometimes swears. :) My favorite thing she says is, "Ooooh, Lordie!" How blessed I am to be descended from these two humble and amazing people!

Friends who make messes together, clean together

These three made a huge mess of the styrofoam from a new TV. It really is my own fault for not throwing it away sooner. But they sure were good at cleaning it up!

Summer has begun!

Summer always begins with Pony Express days for us. During that week though, Scott was gone to Zion's National Park with the Young Men. So, we went to family night at Nolan Park without him. The kids were good while he was gone. We walked, played on bounce houses, ate popcorn and danced. It was a good time.

I love seeing my kids hold hands. :)
