It's going to be a fun summer!

Just when we thought we had Indie's wandering under control...Milo decides to join in the fray! We have a GPS tracker on Indie's bike and have had one since last summer. It has made my life so much easier and less stressful not wondering where Indie has snuck off to. Ever since Indie has learned how to ride a bike he won't go anywhere without it. Or so I thought. Since Milo doesn't ride a bike yet, Indie likes to go out with him, and they now take off together rather frequently. It doesn't help matters that Indie also knows how to open the high lock on the front door now. These pictures are from their first escapade. I had sat down to feed Ever and after a few minutes of quiet I realized that Indie and Milo were missing. They decided to take a trip down the street about a block or so to the little park by our house. Since then they have taken off two other times. One was right as we were leaving to go to cousin Eric's baptism. We found them by the Church, about a block further than the little park. Another time a friend found them by the big park, about a block further than the church even, heading to the other side of the neighborhood. It is going to be an interesting summer!

Ever Update

Can you believe it?!? This little girl is 4 months old! She cut her first tooth only a day or two after she turned 3 months, and she cut her second one about a week ago! Crazy early for getting teeth! She's been rolling over for two weeks now and is starting to get herself around. We can hardly believe how quickly she is progressing. As you can see, she loves to suck her two left fingers and has no need for a pacifier. She sleeps through the night and is so happy and content...most of the time. All babies have their moments, right? We just L-O-V-E, love her! Indie is so sweet and calls her either "baby girl" or "baby Ever" and loves to give her kisses as well as try to make her smile by invading her personal space. Annicka is a GIANT help when I'm trying to get things done like making dinner. She'll take Ever off of my hands and play with her to keep her happy. Park is very sweet with her also and Milo mostly ignores her, except when he thinks she deserves a kiss.

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year the Activity Days girls got to have a mom's night where they gave all their moms a pedicure. Annicka and I had a great time together!

 

 And then Scott cleaned the house for me and he also got me Sherries berries chocolate dipped strawberries. Delicious! All in all it was a great Mother's Day.

 

A dream

When Annicka was very little, about three years old, she told me about a dream she had. I had put it on a separate blog for some reason and it never got printed with our other blog books. Well I finally found it and wanted to put it here so that it would be officially printed and recorded, not just floating somewhere out there on the web. Here it is:

Annicka was just telling me about a dream she had. A girl angel came to her. She was wearing white and she had white shoes and white socks. And Annicka said she was wearing a princess hat. I asked if it was a tall princess hat and she said, "no, it cover her face, like this."(she showed me) "did it go down behind her head too?" "yep" "What did she say?" "I don't know. Mommy, the angel love me!" Her hair and eyes were white too. I asked her what she looked like and Annie said "Like Heavenly Father!"

Ever and Loraine

This is the amazing woman that Ever is named after. She is well educated, faithful, and such a joy to be around! We hope she is around for a good long time so that Ever will be able to get to know her and love her as much as we do!

Graduation!

While I finished my coursework last November, I got to celebrate my graduation by walking! Thank you to all of those who made it possible for me to graduate and who encouraged me along the way! Especially Summer and Scott. There were many times when Summer would watch my kids so that I could go take tests and Scott took of many days and let me be gone on endless Saturdays so that I could do research at the Family History Library downtown. This was a long time coming, and I did it!
