Park's Field Trip

 This year for his field trip Park got to go to the new Bean Museum on the BYU campus. His friend Sami's mom got to go with as a chaperone and so we got to get some pictures of their silliness. They had a great time!

Ever

 This girl is the easiest baby EVER! Pun intended. She loves to crawl around the house and explore and gets into way too many things for an 8 month old. She is so happy and content about 98% of the time. She has this cough/laugh that is the best! All of the kids love her and are so sweet with her. Even rough and tumble Indie is soft and gentle with her, and loves it when she butts heads (literally) with him.

 She is standing herself up in the middle of the room, with no assistance, and crawling up the slide in the basement.

 And yes, she has enough teeth to gnaw an apple to the nubs!

We can't but help love this little girl! She completes our family on so many levels!

India Mela

 It's official, Scott is a REAL magician! He is no longer just doing cub scout pack meetings, he has graduated to the big leagues...okay, maybe not quite far enough to be performing at Ceasar's Palace or anything...but India Mela in South Jordan was pretty big! He works with one of the organizers and she asked if he would do it. They offered to pay, but we said, in exchange for some delicious Indian food and for the kids to be able to do all the games and play on the bounce houses, we would do it for free! He did a great job in front of such a big crowd!

Indie can read...well, sort of.

 This is Indie's favorite book right now. We probably read it with him at least five times a day. And he now has it memorized. What is great is that he follows along each word with his finger as he is "reading" the story. He now reads it to himself all the time. This last weekend he got to read it for Nana and Papa Jim (my mom and stepdad). By the end of their time here he had exchanged a part about "grandpa" and was saying "papa Jim." It was the best. Today he read it to his teacher at school. Here is her response!
